we are going to test a small board useful to promote our small lcd IP for small tft
I think it could also useful for beginners since you can connect to it several cpu with 8 or 16bit bus, in muxed or host port mode (like old sed1330 controllers).
The color deep is not so wide : 16 or 256 colors; just good to be operated also with 8bit o 16bit controllers…
I don’t know if this is the one you are looking for small applications or robotics

I thought today I would look and see if anyone has made any progress on a controller for the PSP screen yet as its been A LONG DAM TIME, since SFE fist started selling it.Whats

Share the frustration over seeming “disconnect” re: this popular TFT.
One point seems missed/under-stated - SFE “may” have difficulty replenishing this TFT. (months went by the last time with 0 stock)
My firm is negotiating with TFT maker for “near duplicate” 4.3" TFT - except we will have ASIC MCU-Bus (8 or 16 bits) Controller ON-BOARD!
Price will be w/in range of SFE - and will likely drop with sales volume.
Will also be offering same with ARM “front-end” - providing multiple fonts, all standard graphic functions - interface via Uart, SPI or I2C.
Further - we plan to supply full range of hi-contrast, wide viewing angle, bright b/l TFTs - ranging (2.4, 3.5, 4.3, 5.7, 7.0 and 10.2) - ALL will operate with “intelligent” ARM front end - or you can drive each directly from your MCU Bus.
