It looks like the [RGB-2000 uses the SiRF II chipset. US Global Sat. has documents that describe [NMEA and [binary commands you can send to the device.

You can also use a program called [SiRF Demo to control the receiver.](http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=25575&whichpage=1)](http://www.usglobalsat.com/downloads/SiRF_Binary_Protocol.pdf)](http://www.usglobalsat.com/downloads/NMEA_commands.pdf)](http://www.royaltek.com/index.php/content/view/96/78/)
