I’ve been playing with Bare Conductive’s touch board. Love the board. However, I wanted to create a setup that would include 10-20 capacitive touch sensors (using BC’s electric paint) and and hardware that would cost less than the Bare Conductive touch board @ $90-100 US. It’s a great board for the $$ but I’d like to keep the budget to a minimum since I plan to build a number of these. Plus I really don’t need the on board MIDI function of the touch board.
So in a nutshell, I need:
-
Arduino compatible board capable of capacitive sense (either right off the Arduino pins with a resistor or a breakout board)
-
MP3 storage and decoding (SD card?)
-
audio out to an amplified speaker or an audio amplifier integrated onto a breakout board
Figured I’d throw this out there to see if anyone had any suggestions off the top of their head.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can give me their 2+ cents!!
