I'm a little confused by this--as far as I can interpret this (according to section 7 of the User Manual and Command reference--which admittedly seems to have an error in the "show connection" explanation table) this result says that you are connected to the network:

[8] – constant value

[a] – connected on channel 10

[3] – authenticated, associated but DNS not found or contacted

[0] – Idle (no active TCP connection)

But this suggests connection is successful earlier previously.

What does “get ip” display? If it displays an IP address can you ping it from whatever is providing the adhoc network?

–Philip;

Thanks for your response I have found the problem, I didn’t connect wire for adhoc mode…now it’s good :roll:

I create adhoc network for communication between my laptop and microcontroller.

I must send request by laptop on microcontroller ( for exemple temperature ) and the microcontroller must response on my laptop.

Great, thanks for letting us know you got it working.

Have fun with your project.
