Hello, I am new to this business of GPS tracking (although I do have experience in basic electronics - A* at GCSE) and would appreciate some advice regarding the Copernicus DIP Module.
My project is to develop a basic(ish) high altitude balloon system which I can track via APRS from my laptop on the ground.
Can I use the GPS Evaluation Board as a breakout board for the Copernicus DIP Module? I need to interface the module to a Byonics MT 8000 FA which uses a serial connector for the GPS input. The MT 8000 FA can supply 5V to the module (which requires 3.3V?) so I imagine I could use the Logic Level Converter is the somewhere?
Otherwise, is their a general purpose breakout board around somewhere for this module which I could use?
Thank you very much for your help!
Tom
