Cypress USB Hub Not working

Hello, I just finished designing this USB hub, it is my first time working with USB, and I cannot get the hub to work correctly.

When I plug in the device, the hub controller chip gets warm, (but I would not say hot). USB devices plugged into the hub power on, but do not connect to the computer. In device manager, I do not see the hub or the devices plugged in.

I have only connected the USB-Hub related components, not any of the arduino stuff, the voltage regulator (for arduino) the GPS or the IMU.

Hello Tim,

It sounds like something is not happy. Just to rule it out look at all your solder connections to look for solder bridges between pins. Alternately you could go around the IC with two tiny spring probes looking at each pair of pins. If a pair has low resistance between them like 1- 4 ohms look at the schematic of the part to see if low ohms is intentional for that particular pair. If it is not intentional you might be on to something. Is is soldered to a proven published pattern or is there a mistake in the art work?
