Which field survey data collector software supports the new sparkpnt facet fp models with tilt compensation? I currently use fieldgenius, but i do not see support for nmea devices WITH tilt compensation.
Thank you.

The tilt compensation occurs on the device before outputting the already-adjusted figures…it sends standard NMEA sentences with the coordinates already shifted to the ground point. This means the software doesn’t need a special “tilt” driver—it just needs to ingest the NMEA stream without applying its own antenna-height correction on top of the already-corrected position
If FieldGenius doesn’t support generic NMEA sentences it might be worth swapping to SWmaps or similar for ingestion and use FG for post-processing tasks if absolutely necessary
I’m making the assumption that the docs still need to be updated for the Facet FP lineup, but it would work the same as with the Torch, for the “-T” Variants with Tilt.
If So : You can set your Rod Height = 0 in Field Genius, and have the Facet FP Tilt Model always output the Rod Tip.
One downside to this workaround is you cant quickly adjust your Rod Height in the field.
Thank you for the detail !!
FieldGenius does accept nmea stream, so we should , in theory, be good.
