Hello
i would like to know if i can use only one of this converter breakout to power (at the same time) both at 5V and 3.3V.
I need to to power two board where i need 5V 3A (in the first board) and 3.3V 2A (in the second board).
I would like to know if i can utilize, after the VOUT, two different ways where to use 1.34kΩ resistor to get 5V and use a 2.182kΩ resistor to get 3.3V.
The BOB-09370 has one converter module and depending on the trim resistor you get a certain output voltage. ONE at the time. So you get 5V with 1.34K OR 3v3 with 2.182K, both you can not have BOTH at the same time. What I would do is generate 5V. Connect that to the first board. Now you have different options :
Connect to the 5V 2 diodes (which can handle at least 2A) in serial. A diode will have a drop of about 0.7V, and as such you end up with 5V - (2 x 0.7) = 3.6V for the second board.
Connect to the 5V 2A Fixed 3.3V Low Dropout Voltage Regulator (LDO)
