Design Flexible PCB for prototype

Hi,

I am working on a project, where I am using a PIC microcontroller, we have designed the prototype and it’s approved as well, but now because of its size, the client wants us to look into flexible PCB.

He believes that Flexible PCB can reduce the size significantly. I have read online and understood what it is? Here’s one on [Flexible PCB. So now my question is does anyone has any experience in Flexible PCB? How to design it and then make an order for manufacturing etc.

While we don’t currently do any flexible PCB manufacturing @ SparkFun, we’ll leave this topic open in case another customer has something to add :smiley:
