Trying to get a mike pre-amp board–less $'s than pre-built retail or on-line store–to use for a Mac Mini. Can the DEV-14475 serve, or can it not be set up as a pre-amp? If so, what else would I need to get a mike to work on this computer–besides a mike jack (balanced or 1/4")?

It’s not really setup as a pre-amp, but if you adjust the volume control, it might work.

You may also find you need some load resistance on the output to keep the output stable. (The board’s expecting more of a load on the output than an audio input is going to provide.)
