I have a bluetooth mate gold, worked fine before, and then it started to make my arduino reset. I think it is totaly dead right now, since no leds on it goes on, the stat led does not blink red like it did before, cannot find it when I search for it. Is it possible that it just dies like that?
I have tried a different power source to find out if the power out of the arduino was too little. But it does not seem to work anymore. No leds turns red or green, and I can not find it. Is it dead, or do I do something wrong?
check the resistance across the power mains. Make sure you didn’t short it. If you did, the large current would explain the arduino resetting due to its BOR, since the voltage would dip drastically due to the large current consumption.
Thanks for your reply. It is nothing between GND and VCC. Not a sound from my multimeter either, so it is not contact between them. So is it dead?
No, it is not shorted. It has been plugged into the arduino pro since I got it, and worked for a bit, but suddently stopped working and made my arduino reset.
