Aside, from the large price disparity, what are the differences between the JTAGICE MKI (aka the olimex clone sold by SFE) and JTAGICE MKII (sold by Atmel)?
Mk II also supports debugwire. This is the atmel scheme for using mclr as a single pin debug interface. Definitely a good idea. Wish Microchip would get a clue here - I hate the idea of special header chips… All the new tinys will support debugwire and NOT jtag. Who wants to give up those pins on an 8 pin device anyway???
I almost bought the olimex product but will wait until they come out with a mk II clone. I definitely want debugwire.

edit - oops, reset, not mclr, thinkin PIC… sorry.
