DIY Heat pad?

Hey there,

Does anyone know of a way to create a heat pad? I want to use this with my arduino temp sensor, and to be battery powered.

I’d love to get peoples thoughts on this.

I’m thinking something similar to the heating pads that run in heated slippers. The heat output should be similar to “hand warmers”.

I would try laminating a coil of 40 gauge NiCr wire with some heavy duty laminating film.
