Do you need a USB-C to USB-A converter for the SparkFun Qwiic Pro Micro - USB-C?

Hi,

I was wondering if I can use a USB-C to USB-C cable for the SparkFun Qwiic Pro Micro - USB-C as the guide uses a USB-C to USB-A cable. I read online that some pro micro variants don’t have the required resistors to use USB-C directly. I’m very new with all this so I can’t tell if that’s the case for this one. If it is, is there any way to fix that?

Thanks in advance!

I would suggest trying it every which way…if you can confirm whether there is an issue or not be sure to update this thread with your findings

To update:
I tried and it works. I have also since became a bit better at reading schematics and the required resistor is indeed present.
