I am building a child’s play pizza oven.

I want to use your dome button to activate a red light in oven to simulate cooking pizza and stay on for 15-20 seconds. Is this possible

It seems fair to say this is better thought of as a timer, button & light project.
Today’s pizza oven simulator could be tomorrow’s Halloween jumpscare flashlamp display, triggered by approaching footsteps. December brings holiday automatons, they’re already scary.

Years ago, big clockface timers were common for photography developing so there’s tons of that sort of thing to be found.

A time delay relay, a power supply, a button and your LEDs could work too. More expensive but might be easier for you to assemble.
