EASY WEB II RECEIVING COMMANDS

Well, I have now total control over the original code of Andres Dannenberg with my compiler for the Easy Web II board and is working fine.

Does someone have some code to allow the Easy Web II board to receive commands from the “client” ??

I want to command the Relays and some other parts of the board from the Web page through the client in addition to read the information sent by the Server (the AD converter and Temperature…).

My idea is to have a full bi-directional dialog through the LAN with the Easy Web server and my Computer.

Any suggestions will be very welcome !!

Kindest regards.

Hi,

Check on Rowley’s web site for uIP port to MSP430-EasyWeb2

it supports some CGI scripting which is possible to be used for sending commands.

IIRC they have telnet and ftp also available. So you can send your commands through telenet.

Dear TSVTAN:

OK, downloaded the uIP set of software and tried to compile with the Quadravox QVARCH430 compiler.

I can not make it run on my Easy Web II board.

Is there any special consideration for downloading and running the uIP software under the abovementioned conditions ?

Any special file required to run the Telnet and/or the Http servers on my board ?

Perhaps some configuration is required to acomodate the hardware ??

Any suggestions or ideas ?

Thanks a million !

Nelson.
