EM-406A Output

Joining this forum with ‘for Me’ the unknow EM-406A standard Output.

Have breadborded a Pic18f4580 and pigtailed the EM-406A.

The led is flashing but I receive no data.

Have also a Parallax receiver with incoming NMEA data.

Just beginning with gps, simpel text lcd,

but exiting stuff.

Question: the NMEA output for the EM-406A.

Running the pic and EM406 at 3.3V will solve your com problems. Otherwise you will need a voltage level shifting setup.
