Erase/Program LPC-P2378 (Olimex) does not seem to work.

I am trying to use my Luminary Micro devel board as a JTAG programmer for my Olimex LPC-P2378 devel board and it only seems to half work. I can program the board OK, but I have to use Flash Magic to erase it. If I try to erase the flash with OpenOCD I can’t program it at all, I have to go erase it again with Flash Magic as either the program times out or hangs, or it just does not run.

Does anyone know why this would be? I even tried to use auto erase, but that makes things worse.

Would connecting the TRESET line to the reset line help this at all?

So nobody knows how to fix this issue? Are TRST and RESET both needed to get JTAG to work reliably?

You don’t need TRST, just TDI, TMS, TDO, TCLK and RST.
