ET-102 SiRFII problem wid software

Hi,

I have ET-102SiRFII GPS receiver…am using SiRFdemo 3.83 software for it…but when i connect my module i get message as’unknown software’.Does that mean the software am using is wrong one?plz suggest the right version…Also,I get the error message in Error window’CE_BRAKE’ & ‘CE_FRAME’…wht does that indicate??I dun have antenna wid it…so how much it wil affect GPS module’s o/p if am using it in open space???
