Flashing a sonoff

Hello.

I’m totally new on this forum and this kind of projects.

But I hope I’m in the right place.

But to keep it short.

I have plans of trying to solder a sonoff (not a big problem) and flash it with a new firmware.

The thing is that the guide that i fund was using a SparkFun Serial Basic Breakout - CH340G.

Those are backordered at the moment…

So my question is… can i use a SparkFun Serial Basic Breakout - CH340C instead??
