Can anyone give me some hints on how to generate a constant wavelength sine signal in terms of hardware?
Any frequency between 900MHZ and 2.4GHz is fine.

Quartz crystal & VCO & PLL & RF amps & LPF.
Or buy a Signal Generator that does those frequencies.
So do web searches with your favorite search tool or goggle.
