I want to start playing around with LEDs with my kids in a really basic way, just soldering together LEDs and resistors, and connecting them to a power supply. I want to need resistors so we can also use Ohm’s law and do some arithmetic. What kind of power supply would you recommend?
A three AA battery holder like [PRT-10891 would be good for starting out with LEDs. It provids 4.5 volts and the same resistors you would use for a 5 volt arduino would work with it. :)](Battery Holder 3xAA with Cover and Switch - Bare Wire - PRT-10891 - SparkFun Electronics)
