Gnss radio

Hello there,

Iam currently building the Gnss reference station from your blog post. I have purchased the radio transmitter and would like to buy a roof top antenna like the one you mentioned. Unfortunately It looks like this product is no longer Available. You have other 915mhz antennas but they mention (LoRa) they are in the same frequency am I still able to use these antennas? If not could you recommend one?

I look forward to your reply.

Thank you!

Many of the options here https://www.sparkfun.com/categories/18 would work, I generally recommend https://www.sparkfun.com/products/17751 as a premium option and https://www.sparkfun.com/products/15192 … 1550083307 as a mid-level

Hello Russell,

Thank you for the reply! I have already purchased the the l1/l2 premium receiver For Gnss. I should have stated the antenna for the sik 1000 radio module that connects to the zed f9p module.

Thank you!

Oh! Those radios https://www.sparkfun.com/products/19032 come with 915 MHz antennae x2; they transmit a few hundred meters as-is…but you can also use this cable https://www.sparkfun.com/products/14911 with this https://www.sparkfun.com/products/15597 to increase the range

But yes, any antenna with the correct frequency range will work (be sure to get RP-SMA, or adapters to make it that way…that what the SIK radios use)
