GPS & Digital Compass Logger

Hello All

Completely lost on putting together a data logger activated by a trigger. The logger will store data from a GPS and a Digital Compass (bearing).

Need Help completely lost on this, will take any help or pay for a solution… All parts are available here and am running out of time to complete the task.

Can You explain with more details what is the task you are working on ? There are so many COTS products that would provide that functionality.

Here is what I am trying to do. I am in need of a data logger that can log the input of both of the below devices and write them to a file on a USB or SD Card. The unit will only log the data upon depressing a “trigger”. So the output will contain the GPS coords and the compass bearing.

Using the following parts:

The GPS antenna

The Digital Compass

So I need either a DIY kit or a parts list and a schematic. In regards to OS for the logger I am not sure which will work best so I am open.
