GPS log + LCD

Greetings, I’m a CS major, not CE or EE…so be gentle :slight_smile:

I have need for a GPS logger, however I need to see speed/direction real-time. If I was to do this myself I’d use a pico-itx with lassen iQ eval kit…however, that is just overkill for such a project (cost and power). Also, commercial solutions are a bit costly, was hoping to do it for cheaper.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

All you need is an atmega8, a GPSmouse and an LCD display.

Depending on the display used, the software needs minor modifications
