Has Anyone got the m6e nano rfid reader working with an arduino due?

Thank you

that solved that

still doesn’t work on the due but i have given up on that now

do you know how to store the data from the command nano.msg and what type of variable?

The definition in SparkFun_UHF_RFID_Reader.h :

//This is our universal msg array, used for all communication
//Before sending a command to the module we will write our command and CRC into it
//And before returning, response will be recorded into the msg array. Default is 255 bytes.
    uint8_t msg[MAX_MSG_SIZE];

after receiving a message, msg[0] will be set to :

ALL_GOOD

ERROR_CORRUPT_RESPONSE : CRC error

ERROR_WRONG_OPCODE_RESPONSE : different response than request

just for the fun of it. I have borrowed an Arduino Due and connected the M6E RFID reader to serial1. I have removed the SoftSerial library references and set for Serial1. Connected on pin 18 and 19 and it worked in one go… Something else must be impacting and It may not help you, but maybe for others in the future.

Hi, I have a question…

I’m trying to use the m6e nano rfid reader with an arduino DUE as mentioned above.

Is this circuit of hardware serial connection on below a image correct ?

I had obtained a DUE and have been testing without any problems over the past days with the Nano reader. I used Serial1 and had 4 wires connected on the NANO Serial connector : gnd - gnd, VCC - 5V, TXD - RXD (19) , RXD - TXD (18). You are connecting the RXD and TXD to SDA and SCL on the Due, that is NOT correct.

Thank you very much.

I try it again…

make sure to remove the board from the DUE and use it free standing

Thank you very much.

I understood.
