Have Parallel port JTAG <-> USB cable

I have the JTAG device that comes as part of the mini2440 board. It is a parallel port attached device. My machine does not have a Parallel port. I have a parallel port → USB cable and when I plug it all in i can see the device “/dev/usblp0” (I’m running under Linux of course).

Will openocd be able to use this configuration? What would my interface file look like?

That won’t work, you need a proper parallel port. Or, get a USB JTAG.
