HELP soldering iron needed 700 degrees celsious

Hi there , I’m Dene , from New Zealand.

I’m haveing alot of trouble purchasing a soldering iron of at least 700 degrees Celsious.

I need this temprature to resolder a special car computer that has aluminium solder on cuircut board…

cannot purchase a new computer as very rare car … only one in N.Z.

PLEASE can anyone help me here , I’m realy at my whits end here …

700 degrees Celsius is very hot. Steel glows red hot at that temperature. You’re not going to find a soldering iron that gets that hot. Are you sure it’s not spot welded or something?

Yes it really is. I'd imagine the components would be destroyed well before the aluminum reaches melting temperature.

Dene, why do you think it is aluminum solder?

700C would certainly damage almost all PCB dielectric materials.
