I have a problem with bluetooth matt 2 BC118 module, when activated in scan mode, this recognizes the other BLE devices, the detail is in not showing the names of these for over having 7 characters as specified in the datasheet, do you know any solution for this ?, or only recognizes the same type of chip ?.

If the datasheet says it can’t see characters after the 7th, then there’s nothing you can do…

detail this in my devices have short names as mentioned in the datasheet, and I can not display the names of nearby devices, will it be recognized only modules of the same company? or will it be the type of service? :shock:

It should see all BT devices… But, don’t have experience with this module.
