Hi Datatron - I understand you are assembling it the same way, but if you could please take and post pictures of your assembly, it will help us figure out where the problems may be.
Plug the BlueSMiRF into your ZED-F9P. Power your system. Connect from your phone or computer to the BlueSMiRF. What output do you see? Anything?
I connect it to NTRIP (Lefebure), then connet to SWISSTOPO (RTK Server) it Downloads RTK DATA up to 100 KB, but the Accuracy stopps aprox. at 400-700 mm , and Download mor RTK dont Change something at the Accuracy at 400 - 700mm!
Unconnect BluesSMiRF, and connect Bluetooth Mate Gold, start connection to NTRIP
connect to SWISSTOPO Download RTK DATA, accuracy is 14.10mm (MAX)
Same Settings in NTRIP APP & Spakfun 15136.
Thank you very much, Michael
To me, that would seem to indicate that too many constellations and/or Message types are turned ON in the F9P for the 2-way Bluetooth link to handle.
You seem to be right at the bandwidth threshold with the Bluetooth Mate Gold, but over the threshold for the BluesSMiRF. It may be something as simple as a slightly different overhead for the (2) links.
You could Configure the F9P with GPS & 1 other Constellation, and turn off unused NMEA Sentences to confirm. Then add back until the link becomes unreliable ?
There are several posts in the forum about which NMEA Sentences can be reduced or turned Off… if you want to try it.
I have 4 BlueSmiRF v2 , all with the exact same Problem. *I think not Broken.
Protocol OUT RTCM3 = no Correction!
With NMEA OUT, and Bluetooth Mate Gold or Silver the Units Accuracy is near to 5MM !!!
With Blue SMiRF v2 , no more Accuracy, only what Sparkfun 15136 can do without RTK.
It Downloads KBs of RTK -Data, but no Correction is working, stays at ca. 430mm..
I use Pay per Use, Preise und Bestellung
No, I must appoligize. I was thinking about most of the other Sparkfun RTK products that include a ESP32 and run SparkFun Firmware. I’m used to configuring the F9P in the Sparkfun Firmware. I’m very sorry for any confusion.
You can keep NMEA Out, but be picky about any NMEA sentences being pushed over the Bluetooth link.
Again, I’m sorry for any confusion I might have caused.
