HMC6343 breakout board

Hi all!

Regarding the HMC6343 I got the information from Honeywell, that it is crucial to keep ferromagnetic materials away from the sensor.

This also goes for nickel plating on the carrier board and nearby elements, e.g., connectors.

As ENIG is pretty much the industry standard I suspect that SparkFun boards including the HMC6343 breakout board are manufactured using ENIG.

Is this true for the HMC6343 breakout board or has this board been manufactured without nickel plating (or any other ferromagnetic materials) specifically?

There are no ferromagnetic materials in the PCB for this product. :slight_smile:
