hole diameter for conductive thread

I am designing something like a wearable, a small warming sleeve for plant propagation. I’m attaching the info sheet of my project (multi-page TIF), for the overall idea.

I plan to connect things by conductive thread (SparkFun SKU: DEV-10867). I’ve watched all the videos and looked through all the other forum topics, but I have not been able to find this answer: What diameter should I make the connection holes for conductive thread on my driver board?

I will not be using a LilyPad, but am designing a small thermostat board using the Texas Instruments TMP709, controlling a MOSFET. I’ve about got the board done in KiCad, but the one “hole” in my specs is, literally, the holes.

I thought I might estimate from the diameter of the thread. I wrote to the manufacturer, but they only sent me the size of the bobbin!

I don’t have the specific thread size available but a 2mm hole would be plenty large enough for the thread to pass through. You could probably get the thread through a 1mm hole too. Just experiment to see what works best for your application.
