How to move multiple components in EAGLE layout.

Hello, I wanted to move more than 1 component at the same time using EAGLE. I thought using the “Group” and “Move” commands would let me move all the components at the same time, but that does not work…

Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks.

Yep that’s how you do it - but be careful how you are using the “Move” tool/command.

After selecting the group and hitting the move button, look down in the bottom left corner of the window - it says “Left click to select object to move (Right -click to select group)”

So you need to right click to move everything selected in the group.

On the Mac, it’s Command+Right Click.
