Hi,
Does anyone know what this IC “SIL 2104” in the picture is? I can’t find it’s manufacturer or datasheet (I guess it is the USB->RS232(TTL) converter). I don’t have this GPS dongle with me to make sure, but I want to know before I buy it.

Think its a Chinese version of Silicon Lab’s CP210x.

I will go to silabs.com and see if there is a version with 6*4 pins like in my picture. This is the closest part to the one in the picture, so great job
Update:
In the datasheet of those CP210x parts, the right side is all “NC” pins, just like in the picture of device
