Hi, I am hoping to get guidance on the components that I would need in order to build a recordable, interactive communication book for my non-verbal grandson. 50 touch/speak buttons would be perfect. It would be preferable to embed the sensors between pages to create a double sided page where both have function. He is unable to accurately apply pressure so we need a very sensitive sensor. The Leap Frog Learning Friends 100 Words Book is what he is familiar with and is the style I am trying to create.
Most of our sensors are mounted on PCBs which probably won’t work (unless you made really thick pages) :-/
But! you can use the product linked above to test/verify a proof-of-concept for a future design, then try looking for some bare capacitive sensors at mouser.com or digikey.com and go from there ![]()
Thank you!
