Interface with QVGA

I have three collected broken ipaq PDAs on my workshop desk and I want to make use of their LCD screens (I have already heat reflowed pretty much everything off the boards).

I googled the LCD screen and came up with this datasheet:

It is a 320x240 QVGA TFT screen and I have a AT91SAM7SE512

I would like to display some graphics, only problem: I have no idea where to start on interfacing the thing. Any help, or pointers to controller ICs or anything would be much appreciated.

I would purchase one of those and use it to interface, driving an LCD takes a lot of horsepower that’s better left for other things on a processor like the AT91SAM7.

Hi craig_jb!

I am too at this stage and confused with some concept.

If you found some solution about your query, pls let me know so i can proceed my work further.

My LCD module has 4 SPI interface pis, then HSYNC, VSYNC, DOTCLK, EN, 18 RGB datalines.

And i wish for At91Sam7s64 as ARM7 controller.

Any suggestion or help will be heartly appriciated.

Best Regards!
