I am wondering if one can slip in some extra information so that if someone who wishes to copy my work and tries to dump ATMega328 they will see something like “Why do it the hard way? Full documentation and code at web site”
Just wondering since I am sure more popular Arduino based design ends up getting copied and sold under different vendors. SD2IEC comes to my mind for example, at least a dozen different sellers.

It sounds like he is worried that someone will try to steal his code… I would advise to use Google and read how hard it is to get anything meaningful out of an AVR chip.
I am not worried about anyone trying to steal my code, I wanted to show them there are easier way to get details such as source code and build information so if they wanted to “steal” my design, they’d have a proper working design and not have to reverse engineer and risk making a mistake that could result in people asking me why this didn’t work as expected.
I have no plan to do a major sell of my creation ( a small run of a dozen maybe) but I did make the detail public so anyone’s free to copy my design to sell.
