A lot of the motorbike forums I’m on there is a section for members to sell items and also to post requests for items. At least one does an automatic delete of posts after 30 days. The basic rule is that they can only be private sales, no companies.

Not to be negative, but I didn’t really see the focal point to your post.
Are you suggesting Spark Fun make a forum for items for trade or sell?
I’m not real sure they are keen on having a swap meet forum. They have enough traffic without it.
