jlinkarm.dll for ARM-JTAG-EW and IAR EW 6.2

On Olimex Website: “The latest driver is arm-jtag-ew-1.0.6.0.zip and supports EW-ARM 6.x, Cortex M0 as JTAG and Cortex M0 serial wire debug is released.”

Thats not true. It doesn´t work with actuel IAR ARM EW 6.2. So please update driver. I get following errors when loading an ARM Project in EW AFTER loading jlinkarm.dll to /bin.

"Load library error. The named modul wasnt found. "

“Failed to load the component “…armklink.dll”. The file may be missing or corrupt. More info: “LoadLibrary error””

“An error occured trying to initialize the debugger. Debugging will not be available in this sesion.”

Don’t you want to communicate this to IAR/Seeger?

Why? Olimex published the jlinkarm.dll on http://www.olimex.com/dev/soft/arm/JTAG … rivers.zip so i think its Olimex task to update the driver. Why should IAR do this for other corporations. And who is Seeger?

Its sad. They making money with selling these boards and programmer and did not make correct functionality sure. I mean, if i easily could download IAR 6.1 then ok, because it works correct with it but even not with version 6.2.

Do you still mean i should contact IAR or other?

Thanks

Has anybody got a fix for this yet?

Fixed it myself. Bought the Segger J-LINK EDU via Digikey. $65, and reloaded IAR and I was good to go for up to 32Kb executables.

IAR 6.21 updates their debugger SDK,

so all 3rd debugger needs update to use IAR 6.21.

Our Nu-Link debugger for Nuvoton Cortex M0 also need be updated.
