Hi,
I’m trying to view the NMEA sentances from a Lassen IQ module. It’s hooked up, and I can see the data on the scope on pin 5, but cannot make any sense of it.
I’ve tried hooking it up to my pc serial port and the port on the bx24 processor I’m using. Despite both being set to 4800-n-8-1, which is what the iq datasheet says is the default, I get nothing back but junk. Almost looks like the baud is wrong (I did try others).
Is the above all I should have needed to do, or am I missing somthing obvious?
