Hi, I am having trouble uploading sketches onto my LilyPad Arduino USB-ATmega32U4. I am using a Mac air with “thunderbolt” ports. I bought a Belkin cord that goes direct from the thunderbolt port to the Micro USB in the LilyPad. Iam using the board “LilyPad Arduino USB” , and the port that comes up has LilyPad in the title. The error code that comes up reads as follows: avrdude: ser_send(): write error: Device not configured

avrdude: ser_recv(): read error: Device not configured

avrdude: butterfly_recv(): programmer is not responding

Any help on solving this is greatly appreciated!

Hi tomro65,

Can you provide a few more details on your setup here? There have been several reported issues with the ATmega32U4 on Mac OS X Catalina so that may be the problem. Which operating system is your Mac running and which version of Arduino are you using?
