Is it possible to build a replacement, possibly better , battery microcontroller circuit to fit internally in a garmin 405 forerunner watch ? Or is it a better idea to simply replace the bad battery, remove the kaput microcontroller circuit board completely, and install a bigger, better external board hooked up to the charger ? Any help out there ?
