Logomatic Serial Output project

I have a project where I need to send out a string of characters literally at the push of a button. I was wondering if modifying the Logomatic software might be a quick and easy way of doing this?

Basically I’d like it to:

When a button is pressed- read a text file from the card and write that data to the serial port.

Also, since I’m a complete newbie, is there anyone that want to do this on a contractor basis?

Hi Davey

Yes, the Logomatic could be reprogrammed to do this; as it already has two serial ports and the card reader.

Can you post a bit more info; perhaps i might be able to help you with this task
