We are looking for a 5.7" VGA LCD touch panel ARM based development kit.
Has any one used a similar kit any suggestions??

Our group has been developing a range of mono & color TFT panels ranging in size from 2.4" - 10.4".
It is possible to find a mono, 5.7" Lcd - but we guess you want color TFT. The unfortunate result is that (as far as we can tell across many vendors) the 5.7" TFT size (either QVGA or VGA) is almost “twice” as expensive as a 4.3" (480x272) TFT and at least 25% more costly as a 7.0" (800x480) TFT.
We understand the appeal of the “squarer” 5.7 size (as opposed to 4.3 or 7.0"). The cost delta of the 5.7" has delayed our full-scale development - with “moq’s” in the 200+ range - a high cost panel is at risk.
You could gain a significant cost saving with our 3.5" (QVGA) TFT or mono in 4.7" or 5.6" formats. (and these duplicate the 5.7" aspect ratio)
In either case - you can talk to our panels via an 8 or 16 bit data bus with normal strobe signals. (RD, WR, RS, CS etc) Some panels include either an ARM Cortex M3 (TI/LMI or STM32) or ARM7.
