hi… i’ve been trying to google it, and so far, i’ve stumbled upon cicrutlab whic i understand is all the rage, but personally i’m more keen to have something similar to this: http://www.falstad.com/circuit/ as it actually shows you the flow of current (visually helpfull), however it does not contain a voltage regulator like circuit lab does , so i’m looking for a combo…
Have a look at LTSpice from Linear Technology. It’s free and it is a well known and very well supported circuit simulator. There is even a yahoo group dedicated to it.

TINA Spice from Texas Instruments
Both excellent free circuit simulators, LT Spice is probably a little on the more intuitive side for usage but I prefer TINA.
ok what’s Spice>?
Spice is the underlying circuit simulation tool used is TINA, LTSpice and just any quality circuit simulation software.
is there any special reason i cannot download tina http://www.ti.com/tool/TINA-TI i can’t see any download button anywhere…
The download button is under the “Order Now” header about 3/4 of the way down.
