Looking for a way to make my stepper motors smooth

I have been tweaking my setup for a few weeks now and have it mostly tuned. However, my stepper motors (https://www.oyostepper.es/category-7-b0-Motor-paso-a-paso-NEMA-23.html) are still not behaving as I would like them to. They work fine but I would like to reduce the drastic changes in direction, especially for short lengths of padding.
I have gradually turned the acceleration and jitter down to 750/2.5. In the cura I have reduced the speed to 30mm and 15mm but it is still jarring. Today I upgraded my bracket and coupler so that it can handle it but I really hope it fixes this.
I would like to have it cushion the changes in direction so I can ramp the speed back up. Also, at the start of a move or a line change, the motor will jitter violently and then resume moving smoothly. This is by far the most annoying problem.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You might be able to adjust the ‘jerk’ and ‘acceleration’ settings in cura…reduce those to make the changes less sudden/drastic

If cura doesn’t have those you could try another slicer that does (like Orcaslicer)
