LV-MaxSonar-EZ4 Questions

Hello,

Just been playing with the EZ4, the documentation states that it will detect an object from 6 to 255 inches. Mine only works up to 14 inches and the analog output only reads 1.67 or 1.54 volts continuous. Input voltage is 5 volts.

Do I have a bad sensor?

Also, is there any way to water proof this bad boy?

Unit found to be defective and is being replaced by Maxbotics NC
