Anyone got more details on EK-TM4C1294XL - Tiva C Series TM4C1294 Connected Launchpad?

It says that they have partnered with some site for the internet of things so I just want to make sure this isn’t another “electric imp” but rather just the sample code provided is geared towards that platform but otherwise the Tiva C Series TM4C1294 Connected Launchpad is true open hardware and not tied into specific cloud (unlike the imp).
