Is there any difference behind the scenes if you connect servos to the pins labeled for servos vs the other ones? I have not seen any clear differences in performance myself, but sometimes boards can have specific resources or even more power directed to pins meant to be used with servos. Is this the case with the Moto:bit?
Some servos have their PWM ranges set-in-stone, so it largely depends on the servo type/brand/specs…sometimes you’ll see them only be able to sweep 45 degrees instead of the full 180, or similar situations.
In general, you’ll end up with fewer bugs if you stick to the directions…but experimenting is more fun!
PS: The more powerful traces in most cases will be the Motor pins/traces
