I have a situation where space is too tight for hardware to mount a board. I’m forced to use some type of adhesive.

Solder mask is a type of resin. It’s pretty tough.

Silicone is a good light duty adhesive that can take the heat and is easily removed if rework is needed. If you need strength then epoxy is pretty common in electronics. Hot glue is also an option.
